This Friday is the opening of an amazing show at the Bridgeport Art Center Gallery in Chicago, and I have the honor of being one of the nine featured artist.
Words and Gestures is an exhibition of gestural abstraction and art that incorporates textual material, exploring the complex and fascinating relationship of writing and art.
The show presents work by an international group of painters with roots in Europe, China, and Iran, in addition to artists from the Chicago region. I have nine of my watercolors from Voyage and Origin series in this show. Here are a few of them.
