2014

In my 70th post on this blog let me just say -what a great way to start off a new year: Kathryn Markel Fine Arts  is showing my work at the Metro Show, open to the public from 23-26 January!
Held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea, The METRO Show unites historic and contemporary arts and design: paintings, furniture, drawings, prints, photographs, sculpture, folk art, ethnographic, textiles, Native American, and applied and decorative arts. Mainstream and the edge.
“Our vision is to illustrate the intellect, beauty, and vision in American arts and design, while placing it in a more modern and international context,” said Fair Director Caroline Kerrigan Lerch. “We want to broaden its appeal and reach out to a new and younger audience while renewing the interest of the loyal attendees who flock each January to the Metropolitan Pavilion, in the heart of New York’s bustling and vibrant arts community.”
Here are the two of several pieces to be exhibited. Also, take a look at the online catalog here.
